Santa Eduviges: 1173-1243 Born in Bavaria by the year 1174 Married the prince of Silesia of which he had seven children. He lived a life of piety dedicating himself to helping the poor and the sick establishing for them places of asylum. When her husband died she entered the monastery of Trebnitz where she died in 1243. She is the aunt of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. Fiesta: October 16th
